A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

A New Awareness

As with any journey of discovery, there comes a time when you must leave the comfort of what you know as a light-hearted view of life to explore the true nature of your reality. With this in mind comes the realization that this newsletter must now begin to evolve to present more in-depth information so that you can further your own journey of discovery and kindle within the curiosity to explore your own spiritual truths and path.

Fear

Fear .... the great immobilizer. We have all heard the term "the devil you know versus the devil you don't" when we have a huge, potentially life-changing decision to make. It's that unsure thought that creeps into our minds and keeps us captive to situations that are not only intolerable but can in fact be dangerous. As humans we fear change. We fear that this change will not only shake up our nice, stable routines but we fear that if change happens we will lose control. If we lose control then people will see us for who we truly are .... whether we are in fact timid and shy, or reckless and hurtful or vengeful or any mixture there of. We fear opening up our soul for in opening up we think, wrongfully that it makes us weak and that those who love us will stop loving us.

The problem ultimately is that fear separates us from the truth we all have wrapped deep inside of our spirits. It keeps us from hearing the Divine Voice that speaks to us from our soul and from the higher source of good; God, Goddess or Source. It keeps us feeling small, alone and adrift on a sea of uncertainty. It also means at some point in our life we have to take up our responsibilities ... not only to ourselves and our family but to the spirit that guides us.

While some fear may be justified ultimately looking at the reasons we fear something brings us freedom. It allows us to choose who we are and who we will become. It allows us to grow at our own steady pace instead of the pace imposed by others. It gives us the strength to know that we have merit and are worthy to the joys and bounty available to all. At some point looking at our fears we see that we can prove people wrong. While it may be difficult to get used to overcoming our fears, the more we work through them the easier it becomes to work through more frightening scenarios.

For myself, as I started along my path to opening up myself as a healer, fear stalked me in a few ways. Not so much the fear of failure but the fear of success and the responsibility that would come my way. The trance visions of hoards of people clamouring and screaming for help was enough to shake and undermine for a little while, my calling. However as I faced them with the growing knowledge that my responsibility was to offer what was needed and not to the responsibility to make people accept it; the fear itself subsided and allowed me to move forward even quicker. Responding to the fear of others for what I bring forward also brought its own challenge; as others became hurtful and resentful and the fear of alienation grew until the voice of my Divine Self spoke up to remind me that this is who I am and who I have chosen to be in many lives. So with genuine pride and wish to give healing to world, I now walk my path, undeterred by others and finding along the way, truer more sincere kindred souls to share in this wondrous journey.

May you see through the fears that you have given power to. I ask you to harness that power once more and make it your own. For in conquering fear we shine even brighter with our own Divine light. I bid you all a season of strength, healing and gratitude.

CRYSTALS

Sacred 7

The Sacred 7 stone in a very interesting stone and it is an unusual combination of stones. Sacred 7 can sometimes be found where quartz is abundant in its many varieties. Sacred 7 is actually what the name implies; it is a combination of seven stones that on their own have various healing properties. Thus it makes the Sacred 7 a very useful stone for healing not only the body but the mind and spirit as well.

Normally Sacred 7 contains Amethyst, Cacoxenite, Clear quartz, Smoky quartz, Rutile, Geothite, and Lepidocrocite. Although individual pieces may not have visible aspects of each stone the power contained within the whole is fully beneficial to one seeking help. Here is a quick synopsis of each of the stones' uses:

    • Amethyst - Spiritual connection, clarifies thoughts, relieves headaches; both nervous and migraine, and attracts justice
    • Cacoxenite - Expands spiritual consciousness, aligns with the 3rd eye, relieves stomach and digestive problems, assists in dealing with emotion trauma
    • Clear quartz - Amplifies spiritual communication, aligns all body chakras at one time, gives clarity to thought, and heals emotion and physical scars

Primarily Sacred 7 is most often used to enhance psychic skills and to improve the openness of the mind to the possibility and probability of telepathy/empathy, clairvoyance, channeling, telekinesis and other extra sensory perceptions commonly associated with "ESP."

Due to Sacred 7's extraordinary combination of stones it does not require periodic cleansing or re-energizing. Although when the stone is wet it has a habit of exhibiting some of the sparkle we normally associate with the individual stones.

A BLESSING for ALL HALLOWS EVE/ SAMHAIN

The celebration of All Hallows Eve or All Saints Day was in ancient Celtic history also called Samhain. It marked the end of the summer and in fact ended the Celtic year. Samhain is a time to release those thoughts, habits and emotions that have either not served you well in the last year or have run their course in your life. It allows for a greater healing and opens to the possibility of even more potential and promise entering into your life.

"Universal Light, Christ Consciousness, be with us now,

Aid us in releasing the hurts and aches of this past year.

Help us to release those emotions and actions that have hampered our growth.

Allow us in this quiet time to rest and heal so that when the

light returns to us we are better able to become all that we have the potential to be. "

Blessed be.

MONTHLY MEDITATION

"My Beloved is Calling Me "

" With flowers, with bright skies, with the divine manna of joy in happy minds, with souls full of wisdom, with songs of the birds, with divine melodies in the hearts of men, my Beloved is calling me to retrace my footsteps to His home of peace within.

I will seek the kingdom of God in the joy arising from constant, long, deep, continuous meditation. I will conscientiously seek to find the Lord within, and will not be satisfied with the little imaginary inspirations that come from short, restless silences. I will meditate more and more deeply until I feel His presence.

By realizing God I shall be reclaimed as His child. Without asking or begging I shall receive all prosperity, health and wisdom.

O Thou Perfume of all hearts and all roses, I mind not how many days of scalding sorrow cross the threshold of my life to search and test me. Through thy blessing may they remind me of my errors that have kept me away from Thee

Protector of All, I care not if all things else are wrested away from me by my self-created destiny; but I shall demand of Thee, mine Own, to guard the slender taper of my love for Thee.

O glorious Omnipresence, let not the fire of memory for Thee be blown out by the gusts-of-oblivion arising from the whirlwinds of my worldliness.

Through meditation I will stop the storm of breath, mental restlessness, and sensory disturbances raging over the lake of my mind. Through prayer and meditation I will harness my will and activity to the right goal. "
